400 Wood Boxes: The Fine Art of Containment & Concealment

This splendid exhibition honors the craft of wooden box, showcasing 400 excellent pieces ranging from conventional to radically contemporary. Modern jewelry and keepsake, twisted, and tool boxes, miniature treasure chests, and sculptural pieces are part of the broad range of designs. Every was personally designed by famed boxmaker Tony Lydgate and comes in an elegant color plate; several of the boxes even come with extensive pictures showing valuable details of building. The collection contains works from an outstanding group of musicians.
